What to Expect
If this is your first Sunday with us, here is exactly how the morning goes.
There is no dress code
Some folks wear a tie. Most do not. Jeans are fine, work clothes are fine, and hats are welcome indoors. Nobody here is going to ask you to take yours off. We would much rather have you sitting with us in what you already own than have you stay home over a wardrobe.
You will be greeted, not surrounded
Someone will hand you a bulletin and point you toward the sanctuary. If you would rather slip in and sit quietly, that is completely fine.
Wear what you are comfortable in
Casual, dressy, or somewhere in between. Hats stay on if you want them on. You will not be the only one in jeans.
Parking and the front door
Parking is available and in a lot and on the grass. The Family Life Center is to the right of the sanctuary and is where most of the adult Sunday School classes are taught.
You are a guest, not a project
We will not single you out or put you on the spot. Give as much or as little information about yourself as you like.
How the morning runs
Two things happen on Sunday morning. You are welcome at both, or at either one on its own.

10:00 AM — Sunday School
Classes for every age, adults included. Nobody expects you to have read ahead.

11:00 AM — Worship
Singing, Scripture, the Lord’s Supper, and preaching. Runs about 75 minutes.

Afterward
Most people stay and visit for a while. Stay as long as you like, or head out. Either one is normal here.
Singing and the Lord’s Supper
The music
A typical Sunday holds two traditional hymns and two contemporary worship songs. Words are projected, and hymnals are in the pews if you would rather hold one. Sing out, hum along, or just listen.
The Lord’s Supper
We observe communion every Sunday morning. The elements are available for anyone wanting to participate, and the pastor explains what we are doing and who is invited to participate before we begin. You will never have to guess.

Sunday School classes
Six classes meet at ten o’clock — four for adults, one for youth, one for children. Visit any of them; you are not signing a contract by walking in.
The ABC’s Adult Bible Class
AdultsMen and women, of all ages and backgrounds. There is always great discussion and great teaching.

AdultsMen and women that have been walking in the Word for years. Several former pastors make this class a wealth of experience.

AdultsWomen of all ages. The curricula doesn’t follow the normal quarterly book and is often a book study with accompanying videos. Read together. Watch together. Grow together.
Joy Smith · Family Life CenterReading Well
AdultsClass that focuses on learning to read the Bible the way the author intended. Learn the story of Scripture and see how we are part of the story. Courses will either be verse-by-verse of entire books or special multi-week courses on selected topics.

Grades 6th-12thOur Youth Sunday School class is a welcoming place where young people can grow in their faith, learn biblical truths, and ask meaningful questions. Through engaging lessons, discussion, and fellowship, students are encouraged to build a stronger relationship with God and with one another.

K4-5th gradeThis K4–5th grade class provides a welcoming environment where children learn through age-appropriate lessons, hands-on activities, and teamwork. Students build academic skills, creativity, confidence, and positive relationships with their classmates.

Wiggling and noise do not bother us. Keep your children with you in worship if that is what you prefer, or use what we offer below.
Children’s Church
During the worship hourChildren 2nd grade and below are dismissed after singing two songs before the sermon begins for a lesson and activity built for their age.
Children’s Sunday School
10:00 AMChildren meet for a Bible lesson at their level while the adult classes are in session. Walk them down and stay a minute if that helps them settle.
